About Us

Our Mission
At Hooves of Happiness, our mission is to bring comfort, joy, and connection through the healing power of animals. We believe that even the smallest moments of interaction—whether a gentle nuzzle or the wonder of meeting a miniature horse—can ease anxiety, spark happiness, and create meaningful bonds. By sharing our therapy animals with those who need it most, we strive to uplift spirits, brighten lives, and remind people that healing can be found in unexpected places.
The Leadership Team
Tiffany Blakeney – Founder & CEO
I’m Tiffany Blakeney, Founder and CEO of our organization, where I oversee overall operations and strategic direction while also serving as Lead Trainer and Hospital Visit Coordinator. As the primary therapy animal handler and caregiver, I’m proud to partner with Trixie, my miniature horse and the heart of our therapy program. Alongside this work, I balance life as a dedicated mom and a hardworking data scientist, always striving to bring care, connection, and joy to others. Whether leading visits, supporting our team, or simply sharing a moment with Trixie, my passion is helping people feel valued and uplifted.
Brandy Higgins – Executive Development Director
I’m Brandy Higgins, Executive Development Director with a heart for helping others and building stronger communities. In my role, I focus on fundraising initiatives, relationship building, marketing, and outreach efforts that connect people with causes that matter. I’m passionate about creating opportunities for impact, whether through developing strategies that support growth or simply lending a helping hand where it’s needed most. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, volunteering, caring for animals, and exploring new places through travel.
Chris Higgins – Chief Technology Officer
I’m Chris Higgins, Chief Technology Officer, where I develop and implement technology strategies, manage IT infrastructure, and advise on how technology can support our organization’s growth. I love tackling tough challenges and building solutions that make a lasting difference. Outside of work, I’m a devoted family man and the go-to “Mr. Fix It” at home—you can usually find me tinkering in the garage, tackling projects, or building a new arcade for our kids’ game room. For me, it’s all about problem-solving, creating, and making life better for those around me.
